ex chesters | All of the old chesters lads that are now playing for bwmc could do nothing about chesters folding.we never wanted the team to fold and it would of not been fair for 7 or 8 players to go and take over another established team. bwmc was a good option for all the loyal chesters lads to stick together.People would moan on here if we had all gone to another club already in the alliance... you cant win.. i suggest you all just get on with your own clubs cuz its getting boring now |

To to Ricky and all | Dude dont spit your dummy out! im just pointing out the facts! I dont play Sunday football,im to old for that. But im just getting to the point that Many teams do fold because they get hammered week in and week out! And then go to a lower division to start it all again. This seems to be the only way for teams to win something. Hence have a glory year! Which coddo did actually do BALL BAG!! |

to to Ricky and all | Coddo never packed up and re formed so get your facts right ball bag, they signed around 5 or 6 new players some more during the season. as Ricky rightly point out it's Sunday morning football so get a life. Or maybe that's the reason you do moan about stuff on here is because you don't in fact have a life away from Sunday morning football. |

Teams pack up and then with in 2 years are playing again! or hence going under the radar and becoming a different team name! lets face it CODDO,CHESTERS,BARKSTONE and maybe many others who at this time i cant mention have made this leauge a farce!!! So dont come on here giving bull crap about we are a new team and we want to play football!! MITCH to question | You come on here saying refs and the refs sec sway towards certain teams, yet you dont put your name, I have put mine and I am this seasons refs sec, you say you play in nottingham but have watched games at yorke drive, well think last season I only reffed one game on yorke drive but you have the cheek to come on here and basically accusse me and our refs of being biased think if you cant put name to comment KEEP MOUTH SHUT AND THOUGHTS TO YOURSELF, christ season hasnt even kicked off yet, as for new refs what makes you think any new boys want to take up whistle when IDIOTS like you come on here with your comments

to to question | I understand where you are coming from but if you were involved in such a set up, ie one you knew would win the league, wouldn't you suggest to the league that you should enter a higher division? I as stated before, the league has done this in previous seasons. You say that BWMC have seven players from Chesters in their new team. I would suggest that they are more than able to play first division football this year but i would also question the motives of these players. I cannot see why a player would consider winning the second division as being better than playing in the senior division. Do these lads want 'easy' wins to boost their egos or is there sonmething that i'm missing? Good luck to all teams this season but let's just hope that it's a fair season. The results will show us this. PS. You quote that Coddington signed a load of players when they were in the bottom division. This is correct but they were already in the league by this time. New teams have always, or they were, vetted on their own merits. If they wanted to join the alliance but were obviously too good for the bottom division, they would be put in a higher one. This was done so that they were involved in competitive games and not hammering and outclassing existing bottom division sides. If all new teams are now automatically put in the bottom division that is a different matter. However, if the league still retain the right to 'promote' new teams on the basis of their squad i think that, in the interest of fairness, they should ask a few more questions. This is just my point of view, although i know that it is shared by others. |
